Na capa da revista Manchete saíam normalmente fotos de Presidentes, atrizes famosas, cantores consagrados, reis, etc…
Não foi normal sair uma adolescente, montada numa moto, de biquíni, com cabelo voando, exalando liberdade numa época de tanta repressão.
Achei lindo!
Ela tinha dezesseis anos e seu corpo era devastador. Usando um estranho biquíni que ela mesma inventara uma tira de pano torcida, amarrada no busto, a calcinha puxada para cima e amarrada nos quadris por duas outras tirinhas finas, cobria no máximo o mínimo de seu corpo.
Assim surgia a tanga.
Rose tornou-se o símbolo do verão carioca.
Quando Rose di Primo apareceu pela primeira vez numa capa de revista usando um biquíni e cavalgando numa motocicleta, a foto extrapolou rapidamente as fronteiras de Ipanema e do Brasil.
A revista esgotou-se nas bancas e com esta imagem provocante, a foto foi vendida para Europa, sendo capa das revistas Stern, Quick e L’Europeo.
Foi no dia 06 de março de 1955, às 11h 45min da manhã, com 3 quilos, veio ao mundo Rosemary de Souza Primo.

A história de Rose di Primo é a saga de uma mulher-menina, que nascida numa rua sem luz e sem asfalto, no bairro pobre de São Mateus no Tatuapé em São Paulo, tornou-se uma das mais cobiçadas “sexy-symbol” do mundo.
Contarei a história de Rose em capítulos, a partir de 1968, atravessando as décadas de 70 e 80 chegando aos dias atuais.
O mundo das modelos, repleto de “glamour” e de gente bonita, das fotos impressionáveis, da juventude sadia, homens e mulheres “sarados”, rostos perfeitos, corpos esculturais, imensos sorrisos brancos; será mostrada por mim pela ótica intimista, realista e fatal.
Uma história que traz em si uma torrente de desespero e infelicidade.
Paixões, sexo e “rock and roll” serão ingredientes que vão temperar este mundo “fashion”.
Você perceberá no decorrer da história, gente muito conhecida do mundo artístico, social e das passarelas.
